PENGARUH ANTENATAL CARE ( ANC ) DAN RUJUKAN TERHADAP LUARAN MATERNAL DAN PERINATAL IBU PREEKLAMPSIA-EKLAMPSIA DI RSUD WALUYO JATI KABUPATEN PROBOLINGGO

Preeclampsia may increase the incidence of maternal morbidity and mortality as well as perinatal. It can be prevented by providing appropriate antenatal care services and proper handling of referrals that is also according to the procedures. This research aims to discover the effects of antenatal care and referral on maternal and perinatal outcomes of preeclampsia-eclampsia mothers at Waluyo Jati Regional Public Hospital, Probolinggo Regency.
This research was conducted on March-April 2018 at Waluyo Jati Regional Public Hospital and several Public Health Centers in the Public Health Office of Probolinggo Regency. This research is analytic observational with Cross Sectional Retrospective approach. The research respondents were mothers who were pregnant and gave birth with diagnosis of preeclampsia-eclampsia at Waluyo Jati Regional Public Hospital of Probolinggo Regency on July-December 2017 consisting of 51 from 103 populations. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The data used was secondary data.
The test applied was Fisher Exact test and Continuity Correction test. the research results show that antenatal care did not provide effect on maternal outcomes of preeclampsia-eclampsia with p-value = 0.566 (p>0.05), antenatal care did not provide effect on perinatal outcomes of preeclampsia-eclampsia with p-value = 0.436 (p>0.05), referral did not provide effect on maternal outcomes of preeclampsia-eclampsia with p-value = 0.422 (p>0.05), referral did not provide effect on perinatal outcomes of preeclampsia-eclampsia with p-value = 0.547 (p>0.05).
From the research results, the health workers are expected to be able to encourage the mother motivation to perform a standard antenatal care and also by providing relevant health education on preeclampsia and providing quality service in accordance with the standard operating procedure.
