Maternal Mortality Rate and Infant Mortality Rate is an
indicator of the success of development in the health sector. In
the region of Puskesmas Sumowono number of maternal
mortality in 2015 reach 2 cases. The number of mortality has
decreased when compared with the incidence in 2014 with 3
cases. For infant mortality in 2015 occurred as many as 11 cases.
As well as the infant mortality rate has decreased from 2014 with 15 cases. The
purpose of this final report is to provide a comprehensive care to
reduce complications in pregnancy, childbirth, postnatal,
newborn baby, and family planning.
This final project report was written in the form of the case
study using the 7 steps Varney and documented in SOAP. The
result of this care is Mrs. SM’s pregnancy is in normal condition.
The delivery care has been done with 58 steps of normal delivery
care. The baby is able to find and suck the nipples when the baby
was given the Early Initiation of Breastfeeding. Mrs. SM also in
good condition after giving birth. The bleeding is in the normal
range. After being given counseling, Mrs. SM decided to use
injectable contraceptives for the short-term contraceptive.
The conclusion from this final project report show that the
antenatal care wasn’t fulfilled the 10T standard. The delivery
care has been done with 58 steps of normal delivery care. After
childbirth, the baby already found the nipple and sucking. The
need of nutrition, warmth, hygiene and bounding has been
fulfilled. Mrs. SM is in good health, bleeding within normal limits.
The family planning also done at 6 weeks postpartum. Mrs. SM
decided to use inject-able contraceptives for the short-term
contraceptive.
Based on these result Mrs. SM could immediately use the IUD for the longterm
contraceptive. The service providers could carry out testing for HIV-AIDS to
all pregnant women.
