Kodefikasi External Cause Kasus Intracranial Injury Rekam Medis Pasien Rawat Inap di RSUD Tugurejo Semarang
XMLExternal cause codefication not applying in the hospital because it is
considered not important or not included in the INA CBG’s grouping claims,
hospital prefers to encodes a disease that included in the INA CBG’s grouping
claims. This code used for reporting information for management and third
parties. This research aim is to find analized external cause codefication of
intracranial injury case on medical record inpatient in Rumah Sakit Umum
Daerah Tugurejo Semarang in 2015.
This research used descriptive quantitative study with retrospective
approach. The population includes medical records inpatient of intracranial
injury case in 2015 are 262 medical records and samples taken with random
sampling with 72 medical records. Methods of data collection that had been
used observation using a checklist.
The survey results revealed that the completeness of external cause
information by 36 (50%), and 36 (50 %) did not completely. The external cause
codefication completeness 0% or not done. Incomplete information causes the
external cause can not be done. Codefication external cause should be
reported annually through the Hospital Information System (SIRS) Online at
RL 4a Morbidity and Mortality Inpatient Hospital Data External Causes does
not do. Expected socialization and communication between officers of coding
and other medical personnel to perform charging external cause information is
complete and correct in order to provide information to all parties who need
such as management and third parties.
