ANALISIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB KETERLAMBATAN PENGEMBALIAN REKAM MEDIS RAWAT INAP DI RSUD CILACAP

Abstract
Hospitals as health service providers are required to maintain medical records. The aim of maintaining medical records is to support the achievement of orderly administration in the context of efforts to improve health services in hospitals. The accuracy and completeness of returning medical records is very important in managing medical record data both for claims purposes and for a patient's ongoing treatment activities.
This type of research uses qualitative research, data collection methods using observation, interviews and document study. Interviews were conducted with 14 officers consisting of 12 heads of inpatient rooms, heads of medical records installations and assembly staff. Data processing and analysis uses descriptive analysis.
The research results showed that the SOP for returning medical record documents 1 x 24 hours after service, the highest accuracy of returning inpatient medical records was 71.43% and the lowest was 0%. The man factor, namely the lack of discipline and professional responsibility of care givers in filling in the sections in the medical record completely, the completeness of medical records being an obstacle to returning inpatient medical records and the absence of reward and punishment mechanisms for wards or professional care providers who carry out orderly returning inpatient medical records, the machine factor is not significant in influencing the delay in medical record documents. The need for a priority scale in implementing electronic medical records, providing rewards and punishments for PPA is needed to increase discipline in filling out and returning medical record documents.
