According to Lampignano and Kendrick (2018); the procedure for radiographic examination of the shoulder joint for dislocations uses projections in the form of Anterior Posterior (Neutral Rotation); Transthoracic Lateral; PA Oblique Scapular Y; Tangential (Supraspinatus Outlet); AP Apical Oblique; In the Radiology Installation of Ir. Seokarno in the radiographic examination procedure of the shoulder joint with clinical dislocation using the AP thorax projection; two shoulder joint were seen; namely the joint in the shoulder joint; The purpose of this study was to determine the procedure for radiographic examination of the shoulder joint with clinical dislocation and the use of an AP thorax projection showing two shoulder joint which was carried out at the Radiology Installation of RSUD Ir. Soekarno; Sukoharjo Regency on radiographic examination of the shoulder joint with clinical dislocation; This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach; Data collection was carried out on March 27 and April 10 2023 at the Ir. Soekarno, Sukoharjo Regency; with data collection methods used including observation; documentation; and interviews; The research subjects were 2 radiographers with a minimum education of D4; a doctor in charge of the patient; and a radiologist; The results of the study showed that the shoulder joint radiography examination procedure with clinical dislocation in the Radiology Installation of RSUD Ir. Soekarno; Sukoharjo Regency; the patient was positioned supine and general preparations were made using the projection using the AP thorax to show two shoulder joints; The reason for using the AP thorax projection is to view the shoulder joint to compare the dislocated shoulder joint with the normal one; The advantage of the AP thorax projection visible to the sholder joint is that it is for pre-operation and for comparison purposes; the disadvantage of the AP thorax projection visible to the sholder joint can result in unclear image results or the focus point of the desired result is not visible;
