PERENCANAAN BRAKHITERAPI 2D DAN 3D PADA KANKER SERVIKS DENGAN JENIS APLIKATOR INTRAKAVITER

Brachyteraphy is a method of administering radioteraphy use a radioactive implanted or attached to cancer. Currently, brachytherapy has a 2D C-Arm with box reconstruction and 3D CT/MRI. This study aims to determine the difference in planning of brachyteraphy using 2D and 3D technique.
This type of research use the literature review. The object of research is a relevant scientific journal according to the topic to be discussed. The data sources were obtained from Google Scholer, Repository Poltekkes Semarang, Pubmed, American Brachyteraphy Society, Library UGM with keywords used to Planning for brachytherapy cervix cancer”, “Brachytherapy 2D and 3D cervix cancer”, “Brachytherapy 2D”, “Brachytherapy 3D” dan “Brakhiterapi kanker serviks”. Journals obtained will be reduce based on inclusion and exlusion. Processing and data analysis is carried out by making descriptions, summaries and evaluations in the form of data tabulations.
The results of the research obtained are planning for 2D brachyteraphy with the modality used C-Arm with box reconstruction simulation results in the form of data fields and 3D CT/MRI technique based on volume depiction. The difference between 2D and 3D brachyteraphy palnning is that the 3D technique is better than 2D because it procedces volume based simulations that can provide a dose distribution of up to 100% and determine the OAR of the bladder, rectum, sigmoid, small intestine and determine HRCTV and IRCTV.
