PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN MSCT SINUS PARANASAL (SPN) PADA KLINIS SINUSITIS DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD BANYUMAS

Parameter of the Examination Procedure of MSCT Paranasal Sinuses according to W. Long, et al (2016), patient position is prone using 120 kV, 200 mAs Auto. According Hamdi (2020), post processing of examination MSCT Paranasal Sinuses is bone window and soft tissue window. The parameter of the Examination Procedure of MSCT Paranasal Sinuses at RSUD Banyumas using patient position supine, 100 kV, eff mAs 200, image post processing at RSUD Banyumas only made bone window, axial and coronal slice. This study aim to know examination procedure in Sinusitis at RSUD Banyumas and to know image information which using low dose technique in examination of MSCT Paranasal Sinuses at RSUD Banyumas.
This type of research is a qualitative research observational approach. Data collection methods used are observation, interview and documentation. Analysis of data used is with interactive modal analysis
The result of the research shows that the examination procedure of MSCT Paranasal Sinuses in Sinustis at RSUD Banyumas using patient position supine head first, using parameter 100 kV, 200 – 255 mAs, slice thickness 1 mm, and made image reconstruction axial dan coronal slice with slice thickness 3 mm using bone window. Parameter which used in examination MSCT Paranasal Sinuses at RSUD Banyumas called low dose technique, with advantage that the dose received by organ around the sinuses. Image information same with image information which not using low dose technique, there is show frontal sinuses, maxilla sinuses, ethmoid sinuses, nasal cavity and nasal septum. Advantages of MSCT compared to other examination is to diagnose sinusitis is that MSCT can see detail part of sinuses.
