PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN CT UROGRAFI NONKONTRAS PADA KASUS BATU SALURAN KEMIH DI RSUD DR. LOEKMONO HADI KUDUS

The diagnosis of urinary tract stones can be made with non-contrast CT urography. The implementation of Curve Planar Reformation (CPR) examination on non-contrast CT urography according to theory uses the axial plane with a slice thickness of 0.625 mm, while at dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital using a coronal plane with a slice thickness of 3 mm. This study aims to determine the implementation of the examination and the reasons for using the CPR technique.
This type of research is a qualitative case study approach. The research subjects were non-contrast CT urography examination with three patients as samples. Research respondents were three radiographers, two radiologists, and one referring doctor at RSUD dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus. Data was collected by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The data obtained were identified by interactive data analysis techniques and presented in the form of quotations to obtain conclusions.
The results showed that the non-contrast CT urography examination at dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital was carried out by preparing the patient to drink water at two times, namely ±750 ml, 20-30 minutes before the examination and ±250 ml just before scanning. Position the patient supine and feet first with the diaphragm to the symphysis pubis. After the scanning was completed, the axial slice thickness was reconstructed to 5 mm, the tracking process was carried out with CPR in the coronal plane with a slice thickness of 3 mm to fully view and assess the urinary system from the kidney to the bladder, then a 3D volume rendering reconstruction was performed.
The conclusion of the study showed that non-contrast CT urography examination at dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital was carried out by giving drinking water at two times, tracking with CPR technique in the coronal plane with a slice thickness of 3 mm.
