EFEKTIVITAS PERMAINAN TEBAK GAMBAR TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT PADA ANAK KELAS IV DAN V SDN 2 BUGEL GROBOGAN

Lack of knowledge causes children not to be free from dental health problems so education is needed through counseling using interesting and effective media to increase dental health knowledge. Counseling using guessing game media is expected to increase children’s level of knowledge about dental and oral health. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the guessing game on dental health knowledge in fourth and fifth graders at SDN 2 Bugel Grobogan.
This research uses quantitative descriptive research using Quasi Experiment research method using pre-test and post-test design. The sample of this study amounted to 34 children who were divided into 2 test groups, namely 17 children as the experimental group who were given education through guessing games and 17 children as the control group were given education through counseling using power point media. Knowledge measurement was carried out before and after treatment.
The results showed that the level of knowledge of dental health after being given education through picture guessing games there was an increase in the respondents, namely in the good category before treatment with a total of 5 children (30%) and after treatment to 14 children (82%), enough category before treatment 4 children ( 24%) and after treatment 2 children (12%), less category before treatment there were 8 children (46%) and after treatment became 1 child (6%). Conclusion: there is an effect of guessing the picture on dental health knowledge in fourth and fifth graders at SDN 2 Bugel Grobogan.
