Dental health can be improved by providing dental health education using learning media that are easy to understand, interesting, especially for children. One of the interesting learning media used is busy book. The purpose of this study is to learn the effectiveness of dental education using the busy book media on the dental and oral health level of children of Nurul Hikmah at Winong Village, Gempol District, Cirebon Regency.
This type of research is a descriptive quantitative using a cross sectional method. The sample of this study was 40 students of the great zeros (ages 4-6). The instrument used is the busy book. Analyze the data with a descriptive quantitative. The study is done by the surveying knowledge before and after the dental education use the busy book media.
Research shows the level of dental and oral knowledge of children before being educated using the busy book media in the good category 12,5%, with the early 5,00 and dental care education using the busy book media increased to 27,5%, and then average is 8,50. An average yield increases by 3,50. The busy book media contains some activities such as customized dental and oral materials, wich can provide a special attraction for children.
