ANALISA FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEPATUHAN PEMBATASAN ASUPAN CAIRAN PADA GAGAL GINJAL KRONIS

Background: Adherence with fluid intake restriction is one of the problems in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Several factors affect fluid intake restriction in CKD, but these factors are not clearly known.
Objective: The study aimed to determine the factors that impact chronic kidney disease patients' adherence with fluid intake restrictions.
Methods: Descriptive correlation study. Was conduct 65 sampel undergoing HD were included in the study, all of them were CKD patients receiving HD at the Sultan Agung Hospital in Semarang. Age, gender, education, length of time undergoing HD, knowledge, and family support are all independent factors. Adherence with fluid intake restrictions is the dependent variable. The particpant complate an adapted ESRD-AQ questionnaire were data analiyze together with a simple linear regression test and ANOVA.
Results: The results showed that the respondents non adherence with the restriction of fluid intake (63.1%). Knowledge showed that there was a significant relationship with adherence to fluid intake restriction (r=2,94, p-value=0.018), and family support (r=3.15, p-value=0.011). There was no relationship between age, sex, education, length of time undergoing HD with compliance with fluid intake restrictions (p-value > 0.05).
Conclusions: Knowledge and family support are factors that affect adherence with fluid intake restrictions in CKD. Therefore, it's important to manage these factors to limit excess fluid.
