Peranan Filter Kernel terhadap Kualitas Citra pada Pemeriksaan CT Scan Cervical dengan Kasus Trauma (Literature Review)

ABSTRACT
Trauma CT examination has bones such as fractures and has neurological dysfunction so that quality is needed to show the location of the injury, spinal cord injury, and neurologic kernel filter. Kernel filter is a mathematical equation that is convulsed on the measured data that is used to reconstruct the image and remove blur. The purpose of this research is for knowing the role of Kernel Filter image quality on Cervical CT Scan with Trauma Cases.
Methode this research is a description which literature review approach to identify, analyze, and evaluate through data collection by searching journals from Pubmed, Research Gate, and Google Scholar. With keywords: Cervical CT Scan, image quality, and kernel filter. Then filtering was carried out based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria so that seven journals were used for the research synthesis.
The results of the research are to show the role of kernel filter on the image quality of Cervical CT Scan examination with trauma cases is the kernel filter is able to optimize good images. The use of a low exposure factor 120 kV x mAs with kernel filter is able to reduce noise and produce image information on bone kernel filter to see bone structure and soft tissue kernel filter to see ligaments, foramina and evaluate soft tissue that is an indication of cervical trauma.
Conclusion research use kernel filters to reduce noise and sharpen the image between tissue and bone.
