ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KETIDAKSEIMBANGAN NUTRISI KURANG DARI KEBUTUHAN TUBUH PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2 DI WILAYAH PUSKESMAS SECANG II KABUPATEN MAGELAN
XMLBackground: Diabetes mellitus (DM) or called diabetes, is a chronic metabolic disorder due to the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the body cannot use insulin that is produced effectively. Insulin is a hormone that regulates the balance of blood sugar levels, resulting in an increase in glucose concentration in the blood called hyperglycemia. lack of motivation from the patient's family and lack of information about the needs of the diabetics of DM sufferers to avoid nutritional imbalances less than the body's needs, so it is necessary to manage nursing care that is focused on the management of low-sugar nutrition in people with diabetes mellitus so that the formation of damaged cells can not occur immediately impact on further complications.
Purpose: This paper aims to describe the management of nursing care nutritional imbalances less than the body's needs in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients in the Secang II Health Center Area, Magelang District.
Method: The method used in providing nursing care uses a descriptive method with a case study approach and uses the nursing approach process. The sampling used included 1 patient.
Results: After doing family nursing care for 3x the meeting of the respondents found that the respondent experienced an increase in the body's nutritional balance to meet its nutritional needs in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
