PENERAPAN SEKUEN T2 WEIGHTED FAST SPIN ECHO (FSE) PADA PEMERIKSAAN MRI CERVICAL DENGAN KLINIS HERNIA NUCLEUS PULPOSUS (HNP)
XMLBackground: In cervical MRI with clinical HNP, there are often problems with decreasing image quality and resulting anatomical information, therefore it is necessary to apply T2 weighted FSE with the support of technical factors to produce good image quality and anatomical information. The purpose of this literature study is to determine the application of sequences T2 weighted FSE on cervical MRI examination with clinical Nucleus Pulposus Hernia (HNP).
MethodsThis type of research is qualitative descriptive with a literature study approach with five articles used. From the Google search engine shcooler, researchgate and PubMed, articles used based on inclusion criteria are articles of the last 10 years and published articles that discuss the application of T2 weighted FSE and anatomical information with HNP clinical cervical MRI examination and data collection and presentation, to reach conclusions.
Results: The results of the T2 weighted FSE cervical MRI sequence with HNP cases with parameter values of TR 3000, TE 113 ms, ETL 17, sagittal bandwidth of 140 / axial bandwidth 20.83 Hz / px, slice thickness 3 mm, slice gap 0.6, FOV 250x250 mm , matrix 384x384, phase encoding head-feat, 85% oversampling, no acquition 2, flow compendation yes, TA 4:17. This sequence is able to provide good image quality and anatomical information.
Conclusion : The conclusion from the T2 weighted FSE sequence can be applied to see good image quality and anatomical information. So that the anatomical information on the application of the T2 weighted FSE sequence with parameter settings results in a clearer anatomy, and nerve roots. In the nucleus pulposus it appears more hypointense, intermediate spinal and CSF appear.
