OPTIMIZATION INFORMATION DIAGNOSTICS IN INSPECTION MAGNETIC RESONANCE COLANGIOPANCREATOGRAPHY (MRCP) USING THE TECHNIQUES 3D MRCP: A STUDY OF LITERATURE

ABSTRACT

In general, the MRCP examination usesweighting T2-weighted, on MRCP there are two techniques commonly used, namely thetechnique single shot breath hold and the multi shot 2D MRCP and the 3D MRCP free breathing technique. The main problem in the MRCP examination is the difficulty of the patient in holding his breath while scanning. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal diagnostic information on the MRCP examination using the 3D MRCP technique.
This type of research is a descriptive study in the form of a literature study. Researchers in conducting reviews journalare Google Scholar, Science direct, American journal of roentgenology, Indian journal of radiology imaging, National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), Elsevier, and Weley. The results review of this journalare used to provide criticism and suggestions according to the views of the researchers.
The journal articles obtained by the author were four journal articles that had been identified and met the inclusion criteria published from 2010-2020. Of the four journal articles obtained, discussed the use of the 3D MRCP technique compared to the 2D MRCP technique. The results of review aof In these four journals, it can be concluded that the use of 3D MRCP techniques can be used well in non-cooperative patients, effectively reduces artifacts and overlapping due to movement of breath, stones, overlapping anatomy and physiology as well as reconstructed data acquisition can be performed again post-examination. It has slice thicknes a thinresulting in good image quality so it is superior in optimizing diagnostic information on the biliary system, especially detecting the presence ofcalculus intra and extrahepatic bile duct, stricture, dilation, malignant obstruction and gallstone up to 3 mm.
