Penyakit asam urat atau disebut arthritis gout adalah suatu penyakit degeneratif yang menyerang persendian, dan paling sering dijumpai pada lanjut usia yang disebabkan oleh kandungan asam urat yang berlebih dalam darah.
KTI ini bertujuan agar penulis mampu mengelola Asuhan Keperawatan Lansia dengan Arthritis Gout Fokus Studi Nyeri Sendi.
Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pemaparan kasus menggunakan proses keperawatan dengan memfokuskan pada salah satu masalah penting dalam kasus yang dipilih yaitu asuhan keperawatan gerontik pada arthritis gout dengan fokus studi nyeri sendi. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama 3 hari pada bulan November 2019.
Pengkajian dilakukan dengan anamnesa pada 2 klien hingga didapatkan masalah utama yaitu nyeri sendi arthritis gout. Intervensi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut menggunakan 5 intervensi yaitu kaji aktivitas yang memperberat nyeri, berikan masase yang lembut, ajarkan teknik relaksasi yaitu napas dalam dan distraksi yaitu bercerita/mengobrol dan mendengarkan radio, kaji ulang nyeri secara komperehensif termasuk lokasi, karakteristik, durasi, frekuensi, kualitas, dan faktor presipitasi setelah dilakukan tindakan mandiri perawat, instruksikan klien untuk minum 2-3 liter cairan setiap hari yang diimplementasikan selama 3 hari. Evaluasi dilakukan setelah intervensi selesai dan didapatkan hasil bahwa masalah nyeri sendi klien 1 & 2 teratasi sebagian.
Kesimpulan, klien yang mengalami nyeri sendi arthritis gout dapat diberikan asuhan keperawatan dengan mengajarkan teknik relaksasi dan distraksi.

Disease or uric acid called arthritis gout is a degenerative disease that attacks the joints, and most often found in an old caused by the uric acid excess in blood.
It aims to get writer KTI manage their elderly nursing care with arthritis gout focus study joint pain.
Use of descriptive research by exposure to use the process cases nursing focusing on one critical in the chosen were nursing care gerontik in arthritis gout focusing study joint pain. The data was undertaken for 3 days in November 2019.
For the assessment performed with anamnesa in the 2 clients until obtained the main problem that is joint pains arthritis gout. Intervention to overcome the problems rocking 5 intervention that is the facts of activity that make it difficult to pain, give soft masase, teach techniques of relaxation that is a deep breath and distraksi namely tell stories / chattering and listen to the radio, took pain in komperehensif including the location, characteristic of, duration, the frequency of, the quality of, and the factors precipitation following the completion of the act of mandiri nurse, instruct clients to drink two or three liters a liquid every day to be implemented for 3 days. The evaluation is done after the intervention is complete and obtained the results that the issue of joint pains clients 1 & 2 some measured.
Conclusion , clients who undergo pain joints arthritis gout can be given the care of nursing by teaching techniques of relaxation and distraksi .
