Background : Post breast conserving treatment for breast cancer examination uses a tangential, supraclavicular, axillary irradiation field plus a booster. Booster curative aims to clean all malignant tumor cells that allow it to remain behind. The use of booster is very useful for reducing local recurrence in tumors and increasing survival. This research was carried out in the Radiotherapy Sub Department of Dr. Ramelan Surabaya aims to determine 3D CRT techniques, immobilization, CT Simulator, treatment planning system (TPS) planning, manual radiotherapy verification with CT Simulator, treatment with linac, irradiation field without booster and patient evaluation results.Metode Methods : The type of research carried out in writing this Final Project is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, how to retrieve data by observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained, then processed by analyzing the results of interviews. Furthermore, the author examines existing data with the literature used to discuss according to existing problems, then conclusions can be drawn.
Results : The results showed by stages: an explanation of the flow of radiation therapy and radiation effects, doctor's consultation, position and immobilization, CT Simulator, treatment planning system (TPS), manual verification with CT Simulator, treatment, supraclavicular radiation (AP), axilla (PA), tangential (ML / LM) without booster, with a fractionation dose of 25 x 2 Gy, the reason for not using a booster (electron), because clinical results and anatomic pathology state that the patient has undergone surgery, chemotherapy and ER values, PgR is positive, plus the elderly age factor of 46 years, so the recurrence rate occurs very little and the success rate is high. From the clinical results and anatomical pathology this patient was declared clean of the remnants of cancer cells, so that the post breast conserving treatment breast cancer radiation technique used was photons ... and the final evaluation results after the patient made irradiation 25 times which was 100% complete response missing tumor / cancer.
