PERBANDINGAN INFORMASI ANATOMI MRI KNEE JOINT IRISAN SAGITAL SEKUENS T2 FSE DAN T2 PROPELLER

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) is one of the ligements located on the knee joint. In some hospitals the MRI knee joint examination uses T2 FSE sequences. In a study conducted by Kusumaningrum A, (2016), recommending the use of sagittal sliced T2 FSE sequences to display ACL and PCL, but at the Radiology Installation of Awal Bros Makassar Hospital on knee joint MRI examination using T2 PROPELLER sequences on routine knee joint MRI examinations. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in anatomic information on MRI of sagittal knee joints between T2 FSE sequences and T2 PROPELLER and to find out which sequence was better for displaying MRI Knee Joint anatomic information.
This type of research is quasi experimental. The study was conducted in RS Awal Bros Makassar. Data taken from MRI Knee Joint inspection on 10 volunteers with exclusion criteria and inclusion criteria predetermined performed with T2 FSE sequences with T2 PROPELLER. Assessment is done by 3 people image respondents regarding anatomical information generated. Analysis of the data used by the Wilcoxon non parametric statistical tests.
Research shows that there are differences in anatomical information between sequences T2 FSE with T2 PROPELLER MRI Knee Joint sagital in Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) dan Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) with significance level of p = 0,009, which means p-value < 0,05. When viewed from the mean rank sequences T2 PROPELLER MRI Knee Joint produces better anatomical information than sequences T2 FSE with T2 PROPELLER mean rank value of 4,50 and a mean rank T2 FSE 0,00. In general, T2 PROPELLER sequences produce better anatomical information compared to T2 FSE sequences in displaying image information.
