ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI PENGGUNAAN KONTRASEPSI JENIS MOP DI WILAYAH KELURAHAN BONGSARI KECAMATAN SEMARANG BARAT KOTA SEMARANG

Indonesian population always give increase growth chart. It means, that
indonesian population grow significanly. Central Java placed on third position in
population density. It has 34.257.865 people. The most interested contraception tool
is couples of childbearing age, which prove inject contraception about 67.68% and
less interested is contraception vasektomi 0.59%. So that, there are many user
contraception in fertile woman rather than fertile man. The reseacher want to know
factor analysis which related with behavior which afected to using contraception
vasektomi, so the reseacher do this reseach.
The kind of this research was descriptive quantitative with cross sectional
approach. The population in this reseach is all couples of childbearing age (husband)
in west Semarang regency, Semarang city. Its about 1872 couples of childbearing
age, the reseacher use purposive sampling technic on 95 person. The researcher use
questionaire as instrument. Which relate to behavior of husband on vasektomi
contraception which has tested on validity and realibility.
The result showed most of the responden have knowledge about vasektomi
contraception which is good It’s about 49.5%, good attitude 52.6%, Has good
financial 68.4%, good facility assumtion 38.8%, get supported by his wife 54.7%,
Knowing about reward 26.3%, And couples of childbearing age (husband) who use
contraception about 21.1%. From the chi square test show there is conection between
knowledge (p= 0.039), attitude (p=0.045), facility (0.005), and support from wife
(p=0.016) with using vasektomi contraception.
The couples of childbearing age is expected to increase knowledge about
contraception by following a routine collection of residents and can come directly to
the nearest health care facility.
