ANALISIS PERBEDAAN INFORMASI ANATOMI PADA CITRA DENGAN VARIASI TIME ECHO (TE) PEMERIKSAAN PHASE CONTRAST MAGNETIC RESONANCE VENOGRAPHY OTAK

Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV) is an MRI imaging technique to visualize venous drainage. A good sequence for brain MRV examination is a 3D Phase Contrast (3D-PC) sequence of GRE coherent techniques with T2 * weighted image results. One parameter influencing the contrast of T2 * weighting images is Time Echo (TE). TE is the time to apply the radiofrequency (RF) pulse to the peak of the signal induced in the coil and measured in milliseconds. This study aims to determine the differences in anatomical image information on PC-MRV sequence sequences and optimal TE values in the PC-MRV brain sequence.
This type of research is a quantitative experimental approach, conducted in March to April 2019 in Tarakan Hospital, Central Jakarta. Research by conducting TE variations of 7.6 ms, 15 ms and 22.5 ms in the PC-MRV sequence of the brain against 10 volunteers. Voluntary criterias are cooperative adult humans aged 17-30 years and do not have a history of abnormalities in the intracranial vein. The results of the images were assessed by 3 respondent Radiologists, including superior Sagittal Sinus, Transverse Sinus, Sigmoid Sinus, Galen Veins, Basal Veins and Jugular Veins. Then the Kappa test was carried out followed by the Frequency test, then the Friedman test to find the highest mean rank and the Post Hoc test the Wilcoxon test method was different.
