TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN MULTI SLICE COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (MSCT) ABDOMEN DENGAN DIAGNOSA MASSA ABDOMEN DI RSUD DR.R.SOETIJONO BLORA

Abdominal MSCT examination with diagnosis of abdominal mass in RSUD dr.R.Soetijono Blora using contrast media non ionic water soluble manually injected through intravenously. Scanning starts with a non-contrast phase then scanning once at 50 seconds post contrast. The purpose of research is to find out the abdominal MSCT examination techniques with the diagnosis of abdominal masses, the reason to do non-ionic contrast medium of water soluble intravenous manually and diagnostic information that is obtained by taking a scanning once at 50 seconds after contrast medium injected.
Methods : The research type is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The study was conducted by observing the examination and interviewing radiologist, sending doctors and radiographers.
Results : In the application, the abdomen MSCT examination with mass diagnosis was not made special preparations only to check ureum and creatinine levels, post-contrast scanning made only once at 50 seconds post injected manually of contrast media.
Conclusion : Abdominal MSCT examination with diagnosis of abdominal mass in RSUD dr.R.Soetijono Blora using contrast media non ionic water soluble manually injected through intravenously has been able to show the masses with different levels of enhancement and scanning post contrast only once at 50 second post injection manually contrast media is able to reveal volume, size, location, position, typical abdominal mass, the presence of metastases from the abdominal mass, revealing organs undergoing urination by mass and can provide mass information is easy to do the surgery or not.
