Psychological disorders in clients Chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy in the form of stress. The stress state itself is felt by clients with Chronic Kidney Failure because patients need kidney replacement therapy such as Hemodialysis. Some ways to reduce stress in patients suffering from Kidney Failure are the benson relaxation. This Final-Ners Scientific Writing (KIA-N) aims to analyze the cases of managed in CKD patients who undergo hemodialysis with innovative intervention benson relaxation to reduce stress at RSUD dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus.
Design a solution using benson relaxation interventions. The research design uses a case study with a qualitative research approach. The population of 64 respondents, samples taken 2 respondents experienced stress with a medical diagnosis of CKD Stage 5 who underwent hemodialysis therapy. The time is held on June 13 to June 17, 2018 with a research tool using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) instrument.
The results showed a change in the value of the stress scale with the PSS instrument, so there was a significant decrease in the effect of the benson relaxation intervention on the two respondents who experienced stress. Suggestion: Conduct further research by modifying the intervention given to reduce stress in CKD patients who undergo hemodialysis, for example by using music therapy.
