Hypothermia is a condition where the body's thermoregulation has difficulty in overcoming cold temperature pressure. Hypothermia is a problem that can occur in patients with post-Spinal anesthesia with Sectio Caesaria. The number of Caesaria section connections in Indonesia, especially in government hospitals is around 20-25%, while in private hospitals around 30-80% of the total number of deliveries. The method that can be done is to provide heat conduction with warmed intravenous fluids. The aim of the case study was to determine the effectiveness of intravenous warm fluids in the management of the risk of hypothermia in caesarean section patients with spinal anesthesia in the IBS Room of the Pantiwilasa Citarum Hospital. The case study design used is a qualitative method of case study type. Using two patients as intervention headers. Data collection tools and materials used are intravenous warm fluid, thermometer, and observation sheet. Based on observations of Patient 1 and Patient 2, the body temperature is relatively stable during the IBS room. The results of case studies prove that administration of intravenous warm fluids can prevent hypothermia in patients with Sectio caesarea with Spinal Anesthesia. Giving intravenous warm fluids can maintain the body's core temperature due to blood vessel vasodilation due to Spinal Anesthesia so that it can prevent hypothermia.
