PEMBERIAN BLANKET WARMER UNTUK MENGATASI HIPOTERMIA POST OPERASI PADA PASIEN SECTIO CAESAREA DENGAN ANESTESI SPINAL DI INSTALASI BEDAH SENTRAL RSUD SALATIGA

Background: Sectio caesarea (SC) is artificial labor, ie the fetus is born through an incision in the abdominal wall (laparotomy) and the wall of the uterus / uterus, provided the uterus is intact and the fetus weighs more than 500 grams. According to the Word Health Organization (WHO) the rate of labor with the sectio caesarea method is quite large, which is around 24% to 30% of all labor processes. In Indonesia, the percentage is still large at more than 50%, especially in private hospitals (MOH, 2013). Postoperative hypothermia, defined as having a temperature of less than 36◦C, occurs in 20% to 60% of all patients. Blanket Warmer is a device to maintain the stability of the patient's body temperature when the patient has hypothermia. Aim : To carry out an analysis of the cases of management in patients with hypothermia Postoperative caesarean section with intervention in blanket warmer at RSUD Salatiga. Method: The design used is quasi experiment. In this paper, the provision of blanket warmer to overcome postoperative hypothermia in sectio caesarean patients under spinal anesthesia in the Central Surgical Installation of Salatiga Hospital. Results: From 4 respondents (2 respondents as intervention group 2 respondents as control group) it can be concluded that the use of blanket warmer has an effect on increasing the temperature of patients experiencing postoperative hypothermia and there is a difference in time to increase body temperature to normal in the intervention and control groups.
