Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease that attacks the lungs which are characterized by granuloma formation and causes tissue necrosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Clinically the symptoms that often appear in tuberculosis are persistent coughing for more than 2 weeks, accompanied by night sweats and fever. This situation is the cause of the ineffectiveness of the airway clearance. One nursing intervention that can be given to patients with this condition is an effective coughing exercise and drug administration via the nebulizer. This study was conducted to describe nursing care in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis with a focus on the study of the management of the ineffectiveness of airway clearance in Yakkum Purwodadi Hospital. The method used in this case study is a descriptive method with case exposure. Subjects in this study were two respondents with a medical diagnosis of Lung Tuberculosis after nursing care for 3x24 hours there was an increase in airway clearance in the wrong patient. Based on the increase in airway clearance, it is known that the first subject was able to increase the airway clearance with the absence of ronchi sound in the lung field while the second subject still heard ronchi sound in the lung field. Given the importance of effective cough exercise therapy in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, it is expected that nurses should manage patients with ineffective cleaning of the airway independently by practicing effective coughing and the management of effective effective cough to prevent transmissi
