ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN SHIMMING TERHADAP NILAI SNR DAN INFORMASI CITRA ANATOMI PADA SEKUENS SAGITAL T2 FAT SATURATION PEMERIKSAAN MRI LUMBAL
XMLMRI is a main technique to diagnose for all of vertebral dissease. Lumbal vertebra has corpus, discusintervertebrae, spinal cord and much of fat arround. Some of MRI has difficulties to disnguish between fat and soft tissue nearby, fat suppression is the solution. Effectivity fat saturation pulse depend of magnetic field power and magnet homogenity. Inhomogenity minimalised with shimming. Shimming is an procedure to increase homogenity of magnetic flux density a sample or sub volume. Method is quantity experimental. Data collecting with measurement of SNR value and observation of anatomical MRI lumbal T2 sagittal fat saturation image with shimming and without shimming on corpus, discus and spinal cord regio. Spss test used for validation of the data SNR value and anatomical information.
