Background. Dependence of patients on hemodialysis machines can cause fatigue (Septiwi, 2013). Methods of handling anxiety or fatigue are carried out in the same way, namely pharmacology and nonpharmacology. One of the nonpharmacological methods is progressive muscle relaxation. Case study objectives. To find out the form of progressive muscle repair to the level of fatigue in patients undergoing hemodialysis at Dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus. Design is a case study. The sampling technique used in this study is consecutive sampling, which is 4 respondents. The study was conducted on July 25 to August 5 2018. The instrument is (Piper Fatigue Scale / PFS).
The results of a case study conducted by researchers. The level of fatigue of the respondent before being given progressive relaxation is 3 medium-level respondents and 1 respondent with a mild level, the level of fatigue from the response given after progressive is 2 medium-level respondents and 2 mild-level respondents. So it can be concluded that there is a difference between the level of fatigue before and after progressive muscle relaxation in patients undergoing hemodialysis
