Fluid Attenuated Inversion Recovery (FLAIR) is a sequence that aims to suppress the liquid to appear dark while the tissue that has a long T2 relaxation time will appear bright. With a darkened picture of Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) on the FLAIR, the adjacent lesion's description of the location of the Cerebrospinal fluid will be apparent. MRI imaging technique is relatively complex because the resulting image depends on the number of parameters, when the parameter selection is correct, the quality of the detail picture of the human body will appear more clearly, the better the resulting image quality the better the image of the anatomical image will be produced. This study aims to determine the difference of MRI Brain anatomy information with variation of time repetition value and to know better time repetition value in generating anatomical information on MRI Brain check of Axial pieces.
This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental approach. Data were obtained from 8 volunteers who were examined using MRI 1.5 Tesla at Radiology Installation Siloam Kebun Jeruk Jakarta Hospital. Each patient was examined using a T1 Weighted FLAIR sequence with Time Repetition Value Variations on Axial pieces. The resulting image was then assessed by 3 radiologist specialists. Data analysis was performed using Cohen's Kappa test to test the perception equation and Friedman test to see whether there is difference or not on MRI Brain anatomy information.
The result of statistical research using Friedman test shows that there is a significant difference in MRI Brain Anatomy Information Analysis (Pons, White Matter, Gray Mater, and Cerebellum) Axial T1 Weighted FLAIR Piece With Time Repetition Value Variation, where the p - value is 0,016 (p value < 0.05). The mean rank value shows the variation of the time value of 2500 ms better repetition in generating MRI Brain anatomy information
