Fluid Attenuation Inversion Recovery (FLAIR) is a variation of the inverse recovery (IR) sequence. There are 2 type of FLAIR such is 3D FLAIR and 2D FLAIR techniques. FLAIR Sequence is used on MRI Brain at Premier Surabaya Hospital. The use of 3D and 2D FLAIR techniques depends on the case of stroke infarcts. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference of image and anatomic information of MRI brain with 3D and 2D FLAIR techniques and to know the quality of good anatomic image and anatomic information. The type of this research is kauntitatif research with experimental approach. The study was conducted in RS Premier Surabaya, this study used 10 patients with stroke infrak case. The data are 20 images of FLAIR with axial slice. Both recovered images were given ROI (Region Of Interest) to measure SNR and CNR. Assessment of anatomic information data is performed by 3 radiologists. Data analysis was performed with Cohen's Kappa test to see the difference of the overall data and to see the highest mean rank value and then continued Wilcoxon test to see the difference between 3D and 2D techniques on FLAIR sequences. The results of image quality on MRI Brain between sequences 3D FLAIR AND 2D FLAIR techniques showed there was a difference in the value of SNR (0.045) whereas at CNR (0.449) there is no difference and MRI brain anatomical information on 3D and 2D FLAIR techniques there is a significant difference with the value of siq 0.000 (p value
