PERBEDAAN KUALITAS CITRA DAN INFORMASI ANATOMI MRI LUMBAL POTONGAN SAGITAL PADA VARIASI TIME ECHO (TE) SEKUEN T2WI FSE DENGAN INDIKASI HERNIA NUCLEUS PULPOSUS (HNP)
XMLTime Echo (TE) is the time between the excitation pulse and the echo. Time Echo (TE) becomes an important parameter, because the choice of TE affects the image contrast dramatically on all sequences. One of the primary parameters in TE is Fast spin echo. Fast spin echo is done to speed up scan time, that is by applying several 180º rephasing pulses in one TR. This study aims to determine differences in anatomical image and information quality in Time Echo variations of T2WI FSE sequences, as well as knowing the value of Time Echo that produces optimal image quality and anatomical information on lumbar MRI.
This type of research is quantitative with an experimental approach, the study began in March to April 2018. The study population was all lumbar MRI examinations with Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) cases and then measured the Signal To Noise Ratio (SNR) value, Contrast To Noise Ratio ( CNR), and anatomical information assessed by respondents. Data analysis using Friedman test and continued with Wilcoxon test.
