TINJAUAN PELAKSANAAN RETENSI REKAM MEDIS DI RSUD RAA SOEWONDO PATI

Retention is the transfer of active to inactive medical record documents because patients never come back at least 5 years from the last year of treatment. Based on a preliminary study of RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati through interviews with the inpatient medical record coordinator, it is known that every year the medical record installation performs gradual retention, starting from the sorting, transfer, assessment and destruction. Medical records with a retention date are 5 years in active shelves and patients are no longer visiting or re-treating and medical records that have been 2 years in the inactive rack which will then be carried out in the assessment and destruction stages. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of the implementation of medical record retention at RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati.
This research uses descriptive method, with research subjects consisting of inpatient medical record coordinator, inpatient filing officer and the object of this research implementation of retention. The data were collected by interview and observation.
The results of this study can be analyzed that the implementation of the transfer of inactive medical records has not gone well. because RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati does not have a special room for inactive medical records, the implementation of inactive medical record assessment has been carried out but not in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Circular of the DirjenYanmed. The implementation of the destruction of medical records in RAA Soewondo Pati Hospital is in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure and Circular of the DirjenYanmed. It is better if RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati provides a special room for inactive medical records, so that the implementation of the transfer of inactive medical records can run well. The implementation of an inactive medical record assessment immediately follows the existing Standard Operating Procedure. And make a thorough assessment of both primary values (ALFRED) and secondary values (verification and history).
