MRI female pelvis displays the best anatomy information on the sagital slice. The sequence used in MRI female pelvis examination on the sagital slice according to the theory is T2 Weighted Turbo Spin Echo. Turbo Spin Echo is sensitive to motion so often arises motion artifacts. In Radiology Installation of RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang using T2 Weighted Multivane sequence to reduce the appearance of motion artifacts. This research aims to know the differences image anatomy information between T2 Weighted Turbo Spin Echo and T2 Weighted Multivane sequences and to find out the more optimal sequences in generating anatomy image information on MRI Female pelvis examination Sagital slice.
This research is a quantitative research with pre-experimental approach. Data were obtained from 10 volunteers who were examined by using 3 Tesla MRI device in Radiology Installation of RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Each volunteer is examined using T2 Weighted Turbo Spin Echo and T2 Weighted Multivane sequences on sagital slice. The resulting image was then assessed by two radiologist specialists. Data analysis was performed using Wilcoxon test.
