Background - Cesarean section is the process of childbirth through incisions in the abdomen and uterus. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates the number of deliveries with cesarean section in the world reaches 10% to 15%. The most common problem with cesarean section surgery is pain. Post cesarean section pain leads to disrupted mobilization, which will slow the healing process. One of non-pharmacological pain management is a combination of finger hand relaxation techniques and natural sound music therapy.
Purpose - This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of handheld relaxation techniques and natural sound music therapy to decrease the scale pain of mother with postoperative cesarean section in Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang Hospital.
Method - Type of research used is quasi-experiment in the form of pre test post test with control group. A simple random sampling technique was used to determine 20 control groups and 20 intervention groups. Test analysis using mann whitney test.
