One of the parameters affecting SNR and CNR is receive bandwidth. The settings of receive bandwidth parameters in the field and the literature have different values. According to Sutter (2014) 110 Hz / px, in RSUP Hasan Sadikin Bandung 130 Hz / px, in RSOP Surakarta 140 Hz / px, in Premier Bintaro Hospital 269 Hz / px. So there is an effort to find parameters that produce high image quality. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of receive bandwidth variation on SNR and CNR and to know the optimal value on MRI Knee Joint examination with sequence of Proton Density Weighted Fast Spin Echo sagital.
The type of this research is quantitative research with experimental approach. The study was conducted with MRI 1.5 Tesla at Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. The data are 35 MRI images from 7 volunteers with 5 variations of receive bandwidth (55 Hz/ px, 110 Hz/ px, 165 Hz/ px, 220 Hz/ px, 275 Hz/ px). To get the SNR value, an Region Of Interest (ROI) measured in the Femur, ACL, PCL, and Popliteal artery areas to obtain the average signal compared to the standard deviation of the background. To get the CNR value calculation is the difference of the SNR of two adjacent organs. Data analysis was done by linear regression test.
The results showed Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, there is influence of receive bandwidth to SNR and CNR. There is a strong influence between receive bandwidth variation and SNR with correlation coefficient r = 0,971 (ρ value
