Efektivitas Pemberian Relaksasi Napas Dalam, Relaksasi Benson dan Kombinasi Keduanya terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah pada Penderita Hipertensi

Hypertension is one of non-communicable diseases that has a high incidence rate in the world so this is become major interest in health departement. Deep breathing relaxation, Benson relaxation and combination of both is non-pharmacological therapy that can be used to decrease blood pressure for hypertention. This study was to determine the effectiveness of the deep breathing relaxation, Benson relaxation and combination of both to decrease blood pressure for hypertention.This type of research is a Quasi-Experiment with design pre-post test without the use of a control group. The amount of sample in this study was 30 respondents in 35-70 years old with techniques non-probability sampling. To find a more effective used kruskall-wallis test. The results of this research with kruskall-wallis test were the tested with post hoc Mann-Whitney test show that the combination group was the most effective group for decrease blood pressure because there was a significant result between combination group with deep breathing group then combination group with Benson relaxation group also had significant result (p value < 0,05). In addition, the most significant differrence result in blood pressure was combination group with output 19,5 mmHg in systole and 10 mmHg in diastole. The combination between deep breathing relaxation with Benson relaxation was the most effective non-pharmacological therapy for decrease blood pressure in hypertention patients.
