Cervical cancer is a gynecologic disease that has a high enough malignancy. One treatment for cervical cancer is by radiation therapy or radiotherapy. Radiotherapy begins with a CT - The simulator or radiation simulation using the Treatment Planning System stage (TPS). At this stage of determination of the dose, the direction of light and the field of irradiation.The purpose of this research is to know the difference of dose received by the organ at risk and better irradiation field in cervical cancer irradiation.
This type of research is quantitative with experimental approach. The data was collected in January 2018 at Santosa Hospital Bandung. The sample in this study using 10 patients with cervical cancer made irradiation planning as much as 3 variations. Data obtained in the form of Treatment Planning System (TPS). Test analysis requirements for data distribution normality using Shapiro-Wilk test, data variance test using LSD test, and hypothesis test using One Way Anova test from SPSS 16 for Windows program.
The results of this study indicate that the food box system provides a relatively lower dose in Organ At Risk of the bladder and rectum with an average of 88,650 while the Antero-Posterior (AP) Postero-Anterior (PA) field is 99,280 and opposes Oblique of 11,320 . This suggests that the box system is better in the treatment of cervical cancer in radiotherapy.
