Piriformis syndrome is a neuromuscular condition characterized by a constellation of symptoms that includes hip and buttock pain. The pain is often referred down the back of the leg, sometimes into the medial foot. Examination MRI Lumbosacral with Piriformis syndrome clinical at Kaasih Ibu General Hospital Denpasar used addition FOV in pelvic region with sekuen STIR coronal and showing into 3D. This objection is to find out examonation prosedure MRI lumbosacral and to know the reason used addition sekuen STIR for piriformis syndrome clinical at Kasih Ibu General Hospital Denpasar.
The research is descriptive qualitative with case study approach. Data collection used observation, queationaire with radiographer, radiolog, and doctor of neurology, and also documentation. Data analisys is done by using open coding graphic, then the data presented in the form of figure and quotasi so it can be include.
Result of the research state that prosedure of examination MRI Lumbosacral with Piriformis Syndrome Clinical with addition sekuen STIR is to showing neurographic to causes syndrome like a nervus sciatic, musculus piriformis and plexus sacralis. And showing asymetris significant thicknesses of nervus.
