Background : MRCP is one of MRI Abdominal examinations which is used for the evaluation of stones, tumor or other health problems of gall bladder and biliary duct. This examination generally is more difficult to do because of the movement of gall bladder and bile duct. The movement of abdominal is caused by breathing that gives artifact in which the right techniques and sequences are needed. This research is to aim of knowing optimization of MRCP on non cooperative patients with cholelithiasis at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Hospital.
Methods : The type of research the writer used is qualitative research with case study approachment. The research had been done by using observation, interview and collecting data method. All of data was processed by using open coding system and presented in quotation form that come to a resume. Instruments of research are observation guidance, interview guidance, recorder, digital camera
Results : The research shows optimization of MRCP on non cooperative patient with cholelithiasis at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Hospital can be done by using trigerred technique including patient screening, patient preparation, tools preparation and also sequences required are Coronal T2 SSFSE, Cor 2D Fiesta Fat Sat, Axial T2 SSFSE, Axial 2D Fiesta Fat Sat, Thick Slab,3D.
