Implementation of informed consent at Radiology Installation of Sukoharjo Regional Hospital was conducted by administrative officer and radiographer by explaining the preparation of intra vena pyelographic examination to patient then patient with intra vena examination pyelografi was requested to fill and sign informed consent form according to KKI and Permenkes of delivering informed consent Carried out by a doctor by explaining all the information contained in the contents of informed consent before taking any medical action. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of informed consent by radiologist to patient on intra venous examination of pyelography and patient's understanding of the contents of the informed consent form that exist in the radiology installation with which radiologist has given to the patient on the intra venous pyelography of examination.
This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with observational approach. Data were collected in March-June 2017 by observation of informed consent and interviews of 30 patients who will conduct intra venous examination of pyelography. Processing and data analysis is done descriptively. The data is then presented by way of describing the results of the study and compared with the existing theory then taken conclusions.
The results showed that the provision of informed consent to intra venous pyelographic examination patients was performed by administrative officers and radiographers when patients came to the radiology installation prior to preparing for intra vena pyelographic examination. The patient's understanding of the contents of informed consent has not been in accordance with the contents of the informed consent form because the information submitted by the radiologist only concerning the preparation of intra venous examination of pyelography does not include examination procedures, objectives, risks, complications, diagnoses, prognoses, alternative other measures and risks.
