PENGARUH PEMBERIAN KOMBINASI KAPSUL SERBUK DAUN KELOR (MORINGA OLEIFERA LAM) DAN LOVING MASSAGE TERHADAP PRODUKSI ASI IBU POSTPARTUM

Background : The range of giving exclusive breast milk in Indonesia was still low. The moringa leaves powder capsule and loving massage were believed could increase the production of the breast milk. Objective: This research aimed to prove the influence of the giving combination of the moringa leaves powder capsule and loving massage toward breast milk production of postpartum mother. Methods: This research was included as quasi experiment using pre post-test with control group design. The subject was all of normal postpartum mothers in public health care at Bangetayu during May-June 2017. The sample divided into two groups that were 16 samples (treatment group) and 16 samples (control group). The treatment group was given 500 mg of the moringa capsules once a day and the loving massage was done once a week during two weeks. The data analysis used Paired and Independent t-test. Result: The research showed the treatments group had the average of increasing of baby weight 341.91 (±100.2) gram and the control group 173.81 (±75.74) gram with the p-value 0.0001 (
