ANALISA PERBEDAAN INFORMASI CITRA ANATOMI ANTARA PENGGUNAAN TEKNIK PROPELLER DENGAN T2 FRFSE MRI CERVICAL PADA POTONGAN SAGITAL DI RS NASIONAL HOSPITAL SURABAYA
XMLBackground : Propellers are a facility for MRI techniques that can overcome motion artifacts. Advantages Propeller is insensitive to movement and reduces artifacts due to movement. The purpose of this study is to know the difference of anatomical image information and to find out which better anatomical image information between T2 FRFSE and T2 PROPELLER sequences on Mervical Cervical sectional examination
Methods : This study was a quantitative study with experimental approach of data samples consisted of 10 volunteers. Data were collected on 10 adult patients (N = 10) with age range of 20 years to 49 years and body weight of 40 kg to 89 kg acquired in cervical section Using spine coil. The data were obtained from the research of the image produced in each sequence. The observed image is part include clarity on regional organ Spinal Cord Cerebral Spinal Fluid, cervical intervertebral discs, posterior longitudinal ligament and cervical vertebrae, then each generated image sequences T2 FRFSE and T2 PROPELLER observed by two doctors radiologists with scores 1-3 . Further scores of each image of both respondents are summarized and analyzed by statistical test using Wilcoxon method. Before performing the first Wilcoxon test for determining the value of kappa kappa test of both respondents and selected one respondent to be analyzed with Wicoxon test.
Results : Based on the result of non parametric statistic test showed significant value p value = 0,005 or p 0,05 ie p = 0,059
Conclusion There is a significant overall anatomical image difference between the T2 FRFSE sequence and the T2 PROPELLER sequence on the Cervical MRI examination of the sagittal piece and the T2 PROPELLER sequence is better than the T2 FRFSE.
