Pregnancy, delivery and postpartum are called as normal process. In these processes, many women experience problems in their health which can increase the amount of morbidity and mortality of the moms and the babies. Demak District Health Office stated in 2015 the number for AKI was 22 cases or 106.46 per 100,000 live births while the IMR was 149 with the number of live births as many as 20,761 live births.
The purpose of this Final Report Writing is to implement comprehensive midwifery care to Ny. A by providing midwifery care to pregnant women, maternal, postpartum and family planning services as well as comprehensive BBL at PKD Tuwang Demak District.
This Final Project Report Writingis in the form ofcase study by using midwifery management approachusing 7 varney steps and SOAP documentation.
The result of this research is obtained a diagnose from Mrs. A, 25 years old, G1P0A0, age of pregnancy 37 weeks physiological, and physiological delivery which is followed by postpartum normal phase.
In this case, there is no discrepancy in pregnancy. However, there is a discrepancy in the delivery it is no application of delivery assistance with 58 APN steps standard. In the postpartum phase, there is a discrepancy in the postpartum visit schedule which is not appropriate with the theory. On the other hand, there is discrepancy in BBL care and KB care is appropriate with the theory.
The conclusion of this research is that there is asymmetery between the theory and practice of midwifery care in the application. The discrepancy could be observed on the planning and process in carrying out the care
