PENGELOLAAN NYERI AKUT PADA PASIEN POST OPERASI FRAKTUR FEMUR DI RSUD AMBARAWA KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Background: Fractures of the femur is the destruction of the continuity of the hip joint caused by direct trauma, muscle fatigue, and bone degeneration or osteoporosis. Result of medical record of Hospitals Ambarawa from 41 patients of femur frakcture, 25 patients performed surgery and 80 % of patients complaine of acute pain. The management of acute pain in post operative patients of femur fracture consists of administration analgesic medications and deep breathing relaxation therapy.
Objective: This study is conducte to describe the management of acute pain in postoperative patients of femur fracture in hospitals Ambarawa of Semarang.
Methods: the methods used was descriptive method by used nursing process approach. The Sampling used was 2 respondents with acute pain post operation of femur fracture.
Result: After the management during 3x24 hours of acute pain problems solved characterized by a decrease in the pain scale. The scale of it was influenced by the provision of nursing actions in the form of 3x30 mg ketorolac therapy supported by deep breathing relaxation therapy.
Suggestion: The management of patients with postoperative acute pain femur fractures in providing appropriate therapy 3x30 mg ketorolac physician advice should be supported with deep breathing relaxation therapy taking into account factors that can affect the perception of pain so as well as nursing actions that are given more effective in reducing pain.
