Pregnancy, delivery and postpartum is a physiological process. In this process, not a few women experience health problems which can increase the amount of morbidity and mortality of the mother or the baby. Therefore, the provision of comprehensive obstetric care is needed mother by trained health personnel and professionals, which is expected to reduce morbidity and maternal and infant mortality.
Writing of scientific papers in the form of case studies using the approach of using a 7 step process obstetrics varney.
The research results obtained Ny. I diagnosis age of 23 years G1P0A0 during pregnancy do visit 2 times at 36 weeks gestation 2 days and 36 weeks gestation 6 days with complaints of aches in her back with physiological childbirth followed by postnatal physiological.
In pregnancy do not found the differences on the pregnancy care with the theory. In labor gaps found that aid deliveries do not comform to the standars 58 steps APN for not doing IMD in infants after birth. At 6 hours post partum found that mother are not able to urinate so given counseling early mobilization. The care of newborn is not a gap between theory and practice.
The conclusion of this study that has been conducted a comprehensive care from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family planning and found some gaps. This study is expected to improve the quality of obstetric care in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family planning.
