There are several indicators that can be used to measure the health of mother and children in certain domain, such as numbers of mother mortality rate (MMR). In 2014, MMR in Demak regency were 81,68/100.000 born alive. It decreased from 116,48/100.000 born alive in 2013. IMR in Demak regency increased from 5,8/1000 born alive in 2013 became 6,4/1000 born alive in 2014. The purpose of the writer is to give comprehensive midwifery for the patients of pregnancy, childbirth, new born physiological, postpartum and birth control service. This case was studied from March 15 to May 08 2016 in the village health posts area of Brakas domain of Dempet Public Health Center in Demak Regency.
The process of writing of this final report is the form of case study using the approach of 7 steps of Varney and is documented in the form of SOAP. Collecting data method is by using interview, physical examination, literature and documentation study.
The results of case studies by the author that the client can endure the period of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum safely without complications, the baby was born safely and healthy with no congenital abnormalities, clients choose to use birth control implant.
The conclusion of midwifery done by the writer is that on the midwifery implementation there are discrepancies between the theory and the implementation, such as the midwife doesn’t use protective equipment completely in the childbirth. Midwives are expected to complete protective equipment.
