ASUHAN KEBIDANAN KOMPREHENSIF PADA NY. U UMUR 25 TAHUN DI BPM E WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS WONOSALAM II KABUPATEN DEMAK

Infant mortality rate (IMR) and maternal mortality rate (MMR) known as one of the general indicator in community health status. There are so many ways to decrease IMR and MMR, one of them is the role of midwife as the primary health service for mothers and babies during pregnancy, delivery and post-partum. However, MMR and IMR in Indonesia has increased. According to the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) MMR has increased from 228 in 2007 to 359 per 100,000 live births in 2012. While the number of IMR in 2012 was 32 per 1,000 live births which means didnot reach MDG’s target 23 per 1,000 live births.
The type of this paper is case study using midwifery management approaches and SOAP documentation. Anamnesis, physical examination, supporting examination and document study used for data collection techniques.
The result of this study showed a diagnose Mrs. U 25 years old and Newborn baby of Mrs. U in BPM E Wonosalam II Demak.
Midwife didnot give TT vaccin, didn’t do VDRL laboratory test and complete physical examination. It was caused by the rule of local health department that followed by midwife about mother at the 2nd pregnancy didn’t get TT vaccine considered that the mother have got full protection of TT, also there was no indication fot VDRL test, and genital examination.During intranatal care, midwife only wore handscoone for APD and at IMD process, family direct the baby into the mother’s nipple.
In the future, this comprehensive care can be used as a study of literature for students in education prosses. Midwives should wear complete APD, tell the family about IMD on antenatal care, understand TT vaccin screening status, doing VDRL test and complete physical examination. The client should be cooperative to another healthcare such as observing the growth of their baby.
