Dental and oral health services are a major factor in efforts to improve dental and oral health including oral and dental health. During pregnancy changes occur in the oral cavity associated with hormonal changes and behavioral changes so that pregnant women are susceptible to gingivitis. The low awareness of pregnant women with dental checkups is not supported by policies in the efforts of integrated dental and oral health services at Puskesmas Pati II. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the factors of dental health services and the behavior of pregnant women withstatus pregnancy gingivitis in pregnant women visitors of Pati II Public Health Center dentistry.
Type of analytic survey research withapproach cross sectional. The population was 98 pregnant women who had dental checkups and a sample of 48 respondents were taken by accidental sampling technique. Variable The influence of research is the factor of dental health services and behavior of pregnant women while the variables affected arestatus pregnancy gingivitis of pregnant women. Data is processed by univariate and bivariate analysis usingtest Kendall tau b.
Based on thestatistical test Kendall tau b , thevalue is sig 0.000 (p-value 0.05) so that H0 was accepted.
There is a significant relationship between the role of dental health workers, health policies, attitudes and actions withstatus pregnancy gingivitis.While knowledge withstatus pregnancy Gingivitis has no relationship. It is recommended for pregnant women to further improve their dental and oral health care efforts to avoid dental and oral diseases that can affect pregnancy
