Prosedur Pemeriksaan Multislice Computed Tomography (MSCT) Angiografi Ekstremitas Bawah Pada Kasus Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
XMLMany cases of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) are performed on CT Phlebography/Venography examinations. Miclaus & Ples (2014) said that the combination of CT Angiography examination with CT Phlebography is a widely used option to assess abnormalities in blood vessels. The purpose of this study was to determine the procedure, location of the trigger ROI, and post processing reconstruction in DVT cases.
Type of research is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Data was collected from April to June 2020 through google scholar and american journals of roentgenology online with the keywords Computed Tomography Pulmonary Angiography (CTPA), CT Venography (CTV), bolus trigger and ROI using the literature study method, and the journals used were 5 research journals, data analysis was carried out descriptively by making narratives and tabulations of highly relevant publication and journal manuscripts and then comparing them with theories so that conclusions and suggestions could be drawn.
The results of this research based on literature studies show that cases of DVT can be done by combining computed tomography angiography (CTA) combined with venous phase imaging of the lower extremities. CT Venography is the right choice for evaluating DVT. CTV can provide information about the entire venous bilaterall system. The bolus trigger technique is the preferred method for most applications, where scanning triggers after attenuation in the desired area increases above a predetermined threshold (trigger threshold value +100 HU). ROI can be taken at different locations depending on the vascular region imaged. Post processing on CT Angiography examination for the lower limb using postprocessing MIPs, CPRs, 3D VR, and SSD.
