ABSTRACT
Self-efficacy of breastfeeding is a mother's belief in her ability to succeed in giving breast milk to her baby. Self-efficacy is influenced by several factors, including individual experience, experience of other people's success, verbal persuasion, and physiological and emotional conditions. Verbal persuasion to foster self-efficacy, one of which can be implemented through health education. Providing health education will be more optimal if it is given by giving other media such as modules. Verbal persuasion given to individuals or groups that individuals have the ability to do a task will cause individuals to be more motivated to complete the task.
The study was to analyze the effect of lactation management module on self efficacy and success of breastfeeding in the mother. The method usedbBivariate analysis on the variables of self-efficacy using the independent t-test and on the variable success of breastfeeding using thetest Mann-Whitney.
The result of the study was known that there is an influence and statistically significant between the provision of health education using lactation management module on breastfeeding self efficacy (p = 0,000). There is an influence and statistically significant between the provision of health education using the lactation management module on the success of breastfeeding (p = 0.000).
In conclusion there was the influence of the lactation management module on breastfeeding self-efficacy with a value of p = 0.000, and there was the influence of the lactation management module on the success of breastfeeding with a value of p = 0.000
