The geometry analysis is done by comparing the radiograph image during the first simulation process with radiographic image after treatment. Treatment was given to the group with the use of a single reference point and three reference points. This reference point as the basis of the initial set up of radiotherapy patients. Radiotherapy Installation of RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto uses a reference point in the implementation of cervical cancer patients. The purpose of this study aims to examine differences in geometry analysis results set up cervical cancer patients between the use of one reference point with three reference points.
The type of this research is quasi eksperimental research.The research was conducted in Radiotherapy Installation of Prof dr Margono Soekarjo Hospital Purwokerto. Data, radiographic images of 32 cervical cancer patients, was divided into 2 groups. Each group was 16 patients. The process of geometry analysis was done by comparing the two images in the two treatment groups.The result of analysis was the value of shift on X axis and Y axis. Data analysed by Man Whitney test.
The average modified use of a single reference point on the X axis is 3.74 mm and the Y axis is 4.85 mm. The average modified use of three reference points on the X axis is 1.64 mm and the Y axis is 1.57 mm. The results of this study indicate the difference of geometric analysis between one reference point with three reference points on the X axis with p value 0.013 and on the Y axis with p value 0.004.
